The 2014 football World Cup kicks off on Thursday, and in anticipation of the opening game between Brazil and Croatia, The Con has decided to bring you some songs that have been recorded to urge on the five African teams competing, namely Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Algeria and Ivory Coast. Alongside the video for every African team at Brazil 2014, is a poster for each African team designed by Brazilian artist Cristiano Siqueira for ESPN.

Ghana: The Black Stars

First up, Ghanaian singer Wiyaala has recorded a song for the Black Stars titled Go Go  Black Stars… Goal! Ghana open their campaign in Group G with a clash against the USA on Monday June 16.

Cameroon: The Indomitable Lions
