The lyrics “Jou Poes My Larney” are on the tip of most South African’s tongues thanks to the controversial new video, Larney Jou Poes, from Cape hip-hop outfit Dookoom. The Con has already weighed in on the controversial video, you can read our piece Jou Past se Poes. But now we bring you our video shot by Tseliso Monaheng at a Dookoom rehearsal.

If you want to hear more of Dookoom’s songs, head on over to their SoundCloud page and you can buy their new EP, A Gangster Called Big Times on iTunes. Also if you are looking for more reading on Dookoom, regular CON(tributor) Roger Young has written this piece, Meet Dookoom, the South African Hip-Hop Crew White Afrikaans Civil Rights Groups Want Banned.
