Although Benjamin Bergner (or Ben) grew up in the countryside, he has an inexplicable love for cities. Ben believes that it would help if more people took some courses in sociology and politics. It would make them less emotional and more analytic. He also believes that the world would be a better place if people waved more at strangers (Try it, it makes them happy). After three years in Johannesburg, Ben moved to Berlin where he resigned from being active within the burgeoning South African cultural scene and took on the sober, sombre and theoretical space of academia. He adores discourses, art and when things run smoothly.
